Just off the phone with my daughter. Told her I hadn't written my blog yet for today. That I am feeling uninspired. Tired of hearing myself talk. 51 days in, I suppose that isn't surprising.
So I decided to simply share with you what I am doing, right now, in this moment.
The television is on, and I am excited as it is showing the red carpet opening event for a new movie.
Not as you might expect.
The movie is called LET HOPE RISE. Fandango classifies it as a documentary, music/performing arts. It follows the life of a group known as Hillsong.
The commentators on the red carpet are describing it as a 'theatrical worship experience.'
I'm excited about it, because back in early summer I had opportunity to attend a Hillsong worship concert in Boston, and it was... amazing. Awesome. Inspiring. Their music is part of the soundtrack of my life these days.
Not all will agree. I found a post when doing a Google search that called Hillsong a cult.
All I know is that they are spreading the word of God, the news of Jesus Christ, to the world via music. Reaching out to those who feel broken and need the Gospel's word of hope. God using music to connect people.
Bring it on! So looking forward to seeing it. I'll report back after I do.
That's tonight. Not my own personal inspiring word - but perhaps sharing inspiring words from one with far more life changing impact than me.
Here's the trailer, in case you missed the imbedded link above. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n1zaLhsxLOU
Love you all.
