This is a test. What's wrong with this picture?
Those of you who follow me on Facebook have already seen too many selfies of me today running (ok, waddling?) the GirlyGirl P.A.R.T.S. 5K. I wore this shirt from start to finish.
Didn't realize until I got home and took the number off that I wore it inside out the entire time! And nobody said anything to me. There was writing on the front - inside out and backwards. More writing on the back - inside out and backwards. A tag in the bag - on the outside.
Maybe I'm making something out of nothing because it's 10:51pm and I need to write an intriguing blog but I do wonder that nobody said anything to me, in a sea of about 1000 runners and walkers. Did they not notice? Or did they think I was starting a fashion trend? Maybe they thought it had some sort of deeper meaning. But no. I simply wasn't paying attention when I put it on, eager to get to the start.
Do we pay attention fully? And if we notice something slightly amiss, do we comment? Or have we decided it is more polite to just be quiet?
Probably none of this matters. Just a request, please... if you see me wearing my clothing inside out, will you please say something to me about it? It's the trial of living by oneself - nobody pays attention to such things!
I wonder if I could teach the cat or dog to check me out before I walk out the door?
LOL. Enjoy the remainder of your weekend.
