in determining a "fair market value" for
any individual piece at any given moment.
Artists paint for the sake of the creative process.
Buyers of art make their purchases for a variety of reasons,
often including both the current aesthetic value,
and long term potential worth of the piece.

"How much is that doggie in the window?"
So, now you ask me the simple question...
"How much is that painting?"

the pricing of real estate, just as they do artistic creations.
I choose to take into account several factors other than just size, including the level
of complexity and detail in the painting, and the number of hours invested, both
intrinsic factors so difficult to value.
Following is a price list of suggested ranges for various sizes, based on pieces
that I have sold recently.
If you are considering a commission piece, please use this scale only as a starting point.
