 Yes, I sketched. No, I'm not showing it to you. Because not every sketch is worthy of sharing on social media. Today I experimented with oil pastels. It was fun. I learned, But I'm not going to show you. Oh. And I touched up 100+ornaments today so that I can post on my website tomorrow. Time now to go to sleep. Sending love to all.

I've painted this scene over and over and OVER again since I was 12 and it never grows old, even if I have! The tip of Scraggy Neck, looking at it across Megansett Harbor. At sunset. Tiny one. About the size of a business card. Fast and fun.  Today a small pastel while out adventuring with fam and soon to be extended fam. At Whale Rock Trail in Narragansett, RI. VERY beautiful short 2 mile round trip hike if you've never been! Most fun part of this sketch (for me) are the two figures on the beach - Josh and Steve out for a little father and son walk by themselves.  Note to self: cleaning out car not always good! Why oh why did I take out my colored pencils! Lol. Working with what I have!  |
